It all began on a frosty January evening in 2018, when Miles coifed his best Lego hair and Holly donned her best frock for their first date in Hoxton. A casual street-food dinner and bar-hopping ensued - both of them probably claiming to know more than the other about the local area’s edgiest drinking spots.

Just two years later, the strength of the bond was really tested by living together for the first time in somewhat unique, global pandemicky circumstances. Fortunately it seemed to work out because later that year they bought their first home together, followed swiftly by the arrival of a furry, hyperactive maniac named Fox, who they adore.

Fast forward another couple of years and Miles finally plucked up the minerals to not get down on one knee, but perform a precarious swivel on a gondola in Venice and not even utter the question before he turned into a blubbing mess. To this day, Holly continues to remind him that he technically still hasn’t asked that question.

Since then, fate came calling and another little dream came true: a new addition to the family but this time in human, rather than furry, form. As this is being written, the little one is just 3 weeks away and Holly and Miles are beyond excited for his/her arrival. Yes, at this point they don’t actually know whether their 6-month-old will be a flower girl or page boy on the wedding day.
